Go-Stop: Collection — Terms and Conditions

By downloading or using Go-Stop: Collection ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. The app

Go-Stop: Collection is a card game based on traditional Korean Go-Stop played with hwatu cards. It includes solo games against computer opponents, local multiplayer and online multiplayer. Features may change, be added or be removed over time.

2. No gambling, no real money

The app is for entertainment only. Points, bankrolls, scores, levels, unlocks and other in-game items have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money or anything of value, and do not offer any opportunity to win real money or prizes. Using the app for real-money gambling is not allowed.

3. Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, in line with these terms and Google Play's terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, resell or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.

4. Accounts and online play

Online features require Google Play Games. You are responsible for your account and for what happens through it. Online features are for players 13 and older (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher).

Usernames. When you sign in, you choose a Go-Stop username, which is what other players see. It must be unique and appropriate in every language: no offensive, hateful or sexual words, no pretending to be another person, the developer or Go-Stop staff, and no personal information (such as a real full name, phone number, address or email). It may use letters, digits, spaces, _ and -, and can be changed once every 30 days. We may refuse a username that breaks these rules or require you to change it (the name is then removed and cannot be used again), and limit or suspend accounts that keep doing so.

5. Fair play and conduct

When playing online, you agree not to:

cheat, use bots, modified clients or exploits, or interfere with the server or other players' games;
harass, threaten or insult other players, or use offensive, hateful or misleading names;
impersonate others, spam invitations or friend requests, or abuse the rating system;
use the app for anything unlawful.
send false or abusive reports.

Reports. You can block other players at any time, and, when signed in, report a player for cheating or a modified app, an inappropriate username, abusive behaviour or another reason. Reports are anonymous to the reported player, but they must be truthful: false or abusive reporting can itself lead to action against your account.

Enforcement. We may review reports and account data (including game statistics and a check that claimed progress matches the games recorded on our server) to detect cheating, modified apps or saves, and abuse. For players who break these rules we may, without notice:

limit the account: online play and cloud save uploads are paused, while solo play and saved data are kept, and the app shows the reason;
require a username change: the name is removed and cannot be used again;
remove inappropriate content;
suspend or end access to online features.

Contesting a decision. If you think an action was a mistake, email support@sebbysarcade.com with your Go-Stop username or player ID, and we will review it.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its code, design, text, characters, illustrations, sounds and the Go-Stop: Collection name belong to Sebby's Arcade, except as stated below.

Card artwork: hwatu card graphics by Marcus Richert, from "File:Hwatu overview.svg" on Wikimedia Commons, licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/). The adapted card images in the app are shared under the same licence.
AI assistance: AI tools helped write parts of the code and text and drew the avatar and portrait illustrations, under the developer's direction. The card artwork is not AI-generated.
Google Play, Google Play Games and related marks belong to Google LLC.

7. Feedback

If you send ideas, suggestions, ratings or comments (by email or through the optional rating at the end of the tutorial and University mode), you allow us to use them freely to improve the game, without any obligation to you. We will not publish your comments with your name. Please keep comments respectful and don't include personal information.

8. Privacy

9. Availability and changes

The app and its online services are provided "as is" and "as available". Online services may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control, and may one day be discontinued; solo play keeps working on your device. We aim never to lose game progress, but we cannot guarantee it.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the app, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of data or progress, arising from your use of the app. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app (the app is free). Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your country that cannot be waived.

11. Ending these terms

You can stop using the app at any time and ask us to delete your online data (see the Privacy Policy). We may end or suspend your access to online features if you break these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country or region of residence, and any dispute will be handled by the courts that have jurisdiction there under those laws. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
